Hi guys. Just wanted to let everyone know that those cute applique onesies and that Christmas pattern I've been working on won't be posted anytime soon. I've decided to take a break from my little business. And when I come back, it will be a little different. Those cute onesies will then make an appearance (both patterns and finished ones to buy) along with purses and other fun things I decide to sew. You probably won't see anything until the New Year. Thanks for being loyal customers and friends. :)

Appliqued baby onesies!! These things are quick, easy, and oh-so-cute!! I love making them for baby gifts, and of course for my own little one. I have a pattern for a snail, an airplane, a 4-petal flower, and a pinwheel. I think I'll sell them all together in one pattern, but I'm still figuring out the details. Stay tuned!!

Our Family Tree

Finally, a new pattern!! I love birds lately. And since we are adding a new (and final) addition to our family THIS WEEK, I wanted to make a family tree stitchery, complete with our four little birds. Of course, you can customize this pattern to fit your family, adding birds wherever you want. Pattern goes on sale on Etsy on Monday. ...but I didn't! I've been right here, remodeling, struggling to get off the couch with this huge belly of mine... celebrating 3 birthdays, moving bedrooms to make room for baby #4 (and yes, this is our caboose. Our final child. The end.) Oh, and I've been stitching. And sewing. And gathering many, many new ideas in this crazy brain of mine.

Here is the book. The cutest bird book ever, that is. Little Birds. I am thrilled and excited to have a couple of my patterns published in this sweet little treat of a book. They are exclusive, so if you want the patterns, you gotta buy the book. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. :)

And by the end of the week, I'll post my newest pattern (yes, it has birds on it. They are my new favorite) and I am also almost done with the Christmas pattern that should have been done last Christmas, but wasn't! It will be kind of like a Christmas in July thing. Which I never really understood, but oh well. I am also working on some appliqued baby onesies that are fun, fun, fun. And easy. Who doesn't love that?

After taking a break, I am back to sketching and stitching! I've got some new patterns in the works that I am really excited about. Things have been a bit slow on the blog lately, I apologize. My life has been a bit NUTS for the last little bit. Between two surgeries (My hubby's sinus/deviated septum surgery and my son's umbilical hernia surgery) and me finding out I'm pregnant...well, things have been a bit topsy-turvy lately. Busy. Not so fun. And I haven't had much time to stitch. So, I'm back. I am working on one more Christmas pattern. It will only be available online, I won't get it into stores on time. But it's cute, and I hope you like it. I will be finishing it this week. I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Thanks for checking in with me from time to time. :)

Really, Fall is going to be here before we know it. Hard for me to believe, when my air conditioner is running all day battling the 100* + outside. Nevertheless, I know it is just right around the corner. That is why I'm getting these patterns done EARLY. So all of you can have time to stitch them and get them all done before the holidays. Hope you like them! I am posting one today, and will finish up the other ones this weekend, so there will be more patterns posted early next week.

Also, I am working on getting my own website up and running. I am just such a dork when it comes to building my own site...and finding the time to sit down with the computer for hours just hasn't happened yet. But it will be up and running in the next few weeks. I think I'll still keep this blogspot site so I can share tips and tricks and keep up with my loyal fans. :)

The Tooth Fairy Pillow ~ For the Boys ~ is quick and cute. The little pocket easily fits coins or a rolled up dollar bill or two!

I can't believe summer is here, and with it we get to celebrate the 4th of July! It's one of my favorite holidays, I love the snowcones, fireworks, colors (red, white and blue), sunshine, and the memories of the very first date I had with my husband... 10 years ago!

The first pattern with the star and firework is fun to stitch. If you don't want to fill the entire small star with French Knots (that was a little time consuming), just stitch around it! The second 4th of July pattern is quick and easy. I stitched it in a day, and sewed it the next day. This time I added some jumbo ric-rac around the edge, and I LOVE the look. So festive and fun. I hope you love these patterns as much as I do!! Thanks for taking time to look.

I had great intentions of getting more patterns out by now. Unfortunately life threw me a bit of a curve ball so I got a little sidetracked. I had a bump removed from the roof of my mouth, and the recovery has taken some time and honestly hasn't been much fun. I have 4 new patterns in the works, and they will be up soon! Okay, I've been a slacker. I've got some new patterns stitched, some ALMOST done...and I haven't sewn them up yet. So, this week is the week. I'm going to get them done and posted. And I know some of you are looking for more Easter/Spring patterns, but I'm feeling like I need to be at least one holiday ahead of schedule. So I'll be releasing 4th of July and some baby boy patterns instead. I just need to keep ahead of the curve, you know? Oh, and that Boy Tooth Fairy Pillow? Well, the pocket came off. Thanks to everyone who has looked thru my shop, and for all the nice comments. Here are 3 more patterns. Yes, I realize one is a Christmas pattern. I am just finishing all the ones I've started, and then once those are up I will just be adding more for the upcoming season/holiday. Anyway...here are the next 3. And if you buy 2 patterns, I will send you the "Love Birds" pattern free! It won't show on your order, but I promise it will be in the package with your other 2 patterns. :)

Also, is anyone interested in a full kit? I could include the muslin, warm and natural batting, DMC threads, some fabric, etc??? If there is an interest, I would love to put some kits together. Just leave a comment and let me know.
